Antique Vintage American Doll Co. girl doll 25" tall with red mohair wig - RARE

Description

American Doll Company antique girl doll 25" tall made between 1912-1926.  Her pretty composition face in very good condition.  Her composition head is Marcell style molded hair and her ORIGINAL RARE RED MOHAIR WIG is intact.  She has composition shoulders and arms, cloth body and legs with black fabric stitched on boots, decal eyes and closed mouth.  Back of neck is marked "Am Doll Co."  Her body and legs are intact in excellent condition with no damage.  Very minor damage to right side of composition chest and composition hands as expected for her age.  Her arms are securely attached.  When I bought her 25 years ago she wore the undershirt, long stockings and baby shoes.  I suspect they were accessories purchased separately.  Baby shoes are deteriorated, not mentioned in historical information I read so I did not include in price.  I'm providing shoes as size sample if you want to replace them.  Antique 100 year old dolls have been played with over generations so its amazing she is intact and good condition.  She is wearing a blue and white striped nautical dress with blue ribbon (not original).  Please view photos carefully with my description.  She's looking for a good home.
