Now comes with a 1/4-28 (fine thread) which improves holding of the Rail dogs to your guide rail slot.
When used on a Festool MFT/3 type table
Precision Rail dogs,
once inserted into the bottom T-slot of a track and tightened with a twist of an arm, help you align Guide Rail with the holes on your table.
If you wish to add even more flexibility for your Precision Rail dogs, please check our website for a version with Spacers.
The anodizing on these dogs is a non-fading black Sulfuric Type II done per Mil-A-8625 process.
Benefits of anodized over raw (polished) aluminum:
-Improved surface hardness and abrasion resistance
-Improved resistance to staining ( easier to clean, remove dried glue, etc )
-Non-fading component will guarantee that part will stay black which will make them easier to spot among your tools when needed.
-Corrosion resistance compared to stainless steel.
Please note that
they will not fit if you have an older style MFT or the size of your holes is smaller than 20 mm.
